Candle Care Instructions

  • Before burning, always trim the wick to ¼ inch. You can use a wick trimmer, scissors, or nail clippers. Long or crooked wick can cause uneven burning or flaring
  • Keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings and debris
  • Avoid drafts or areas with air current
  • For soy candles, it is recommended that you burn them until you get a full wax pool, meaning the melted wax touches the sides of the jar. Soy wax has a “memory” and if you extinguish the candle prior to that, it will not burn past the original, unfilled melt pool.
  • Soy wax is a natural product. It is normal for the wax to appear bumpy after the first burn. This does not affect the candle and how it burns in the future. It's a common occurrence with soy and its natural state of cooling
  • Use long matches or long reach lighters to light the candle. Avoid long hair or clothing near the flame while lighting
  • Never leave the candle unattended or near anything that could catch fire, such as curtains or blankets. Do not use as a night light or while sleeping
  • Keep candles away from children and pets. Avoid placing candle in an area where it can be grabbed by little hands or knocked over by  curious pets
  • Do not touch the candle or try to move while it is burning or while the wax is still liquified
  • Do not burn the candle all the way down. Discontinue burning  the candle when a ½ inch remains in the container. Extinguish candle if the flame gets too high
  • Do not use water to extinguish candles. Candle snuffer is the safest way!

Wax Melt Care Instructions

  • Wax melts can be burned in a tea light or electric burner, please make sure if using tea light burners that the burner is not an oil burner and is suitable for tea lights
  • Only use an approved electric or tea light wax warmer. The wax melts are best used in an appropriate wax melt burner with a gap of at least 3-4 inches between the bulb or tea light and the dish. If the tea light is too close to the dish the wax will reach too high of a temperature and your fragrance will burn off quickly
  • Do not extend over a 4 hour period. Let cool completely before touching and never leave wax warmer unattended
  • The strength of your scent will depend on various factors such as room size, temperature of room, amount of wax used. Do not overfill the warmer.
  • Make sure to keep all wax melts out of the reach of children and away from pets. Not made for human consumption. Should this happen, seek medical attention immediately.
  • Never add water to your burner.
  • Keep your burner clean & check it regularly for cracks or damage.
  • Place on a heat proof surface and keep away from curtains, furniture, or anything flammable, especially if you are using a tea light warmer
